HEA FutureComms Project Coordinate Activities with EU-FIA

HEA FutureComm Project Particpates in FIA Stockholm 2009 

Future Communications project is coordinating some activities alligned with the Future Internet Assembly Activity. Future internet Socio-Economics strand group (FISE) Dr. Martin Serrano gave an invited talk at the 4th Future Internet Assembly meeting in Kista Stockholm, Sweden. This activity is catapulting and projecting up HEA FutureComm Project into the Future Internet framework through Security, Privacy and Trust as well as Future Internet Socio-Economic aspects. Sixth Future Internet Assembly, the Future Internet Assembly (FIA) in Ghent will be part of the Future Internet Conference Week, a series of events concerning different aspects of the Future Internet.

The FIA Ghent is organised by communities of hundreds of European researchers of the 100+ projects in all areas of the Future Internet, reaching out to different but related audiences that share common goals. With these events back-to-back, the participants benefit from the ideas from the different parts. This series of events will create an unprecedented synergy between the 2500 professionals from all over Europe. The Future Internet Assembly Ghent will be held on December 16-17th. Fifth Future Internet Assembly (FIA). In 14th-17th April 2010 with the support of the Spanish EU Presidency, valencia hold the fifth Future Internet Assembly (FIA) establishing FIA as a fixpoint within the Future Internet initiative.

Fourth Future Internet Assembly (FIA). The next Future Internet Assembly (FIA) meeting will be held in KISTA city in Stockholm on 23-24 November 2009, Stockholm, Sweden. http://www.fi-stockholm.eu/

Third Future Internet Assembly (FIA). Over 440 leaders representing over 90 projects mmet in Prague in the a Czech EU Presidency Conference on the Perspectives emerging from R&D in Europe. 11-13 May 2009, Prague, Czech Republic. http://www.fi-prague.eu/

Second Future Internet Assembly (FIA), was held 9th-10th December in Madrid, Spain, brought together around 300 people to discuss Europe's efforts towards a future networked society. http://www.fi-madrid.eu

Bled Declarartion for the Future Internet Assembly (FIA). The conference on The Future of the Internet - Perspectives emerging from R&D in Europe was held in Bled, Slovenia from 31 March - 2 April 2008. leaders representing Research & Innovation in Europe (Industry and Academia representatives) have signed the Bled Declaration.
